Instructions to make Semolina drink (thari kanji):
- Take a heavy bottom pan,add 1 tsp ghee and roast the rava till nice aroma comes.no need to change the colour
- Add water +milk and let it boil.
- Add the sugar, salt and cardmom. when it starts to boil medium the flame and cook for 8-10 mins.
- Take another pan,add ghee and fry the raisins, cashews and coconut pieces and add to the drink.Fry shallots in ghee till brown and add to the drink.Serve hot or cold.
